New Work 2014-2015

The last two years have been up and down with the move of the studio and challenges keeping up with demand.  I have produced new work throughout the ups and downs.

New work from 2013 and 2014

I’m a bit on the slow side in getting my work to my favorite photographer, Michael Heeney.

Here are a collection of new, mostly smaller works and a couple that somehow have escaped being photographed or being in a public show until now.

See many of these works at Burlington City Arts 2014 Local Show through January 24, 2015.

La Familiglia and Mid-Century Modern Sell for Arts Grants

This week was highlighted by two purchases  by colleagues through a program I created at Dealer.com where I discount prices for employees on a self-selecting sliding scale.  100% of what my colleagues pay goes directly to supporting Art Education Grants administered through Burlington City Arts.

The first purchase was “La Famiglia” from my 2008 Neurotica collection.  It is a triptych on long panels in acrylic over a moon black background.

Just today I put up a new painting on a wall at work and about 3 hours later a colleague walked in asking about my work and she chose to purchase this work as well.  “Mid Century Modern,” mixed media, 2012.

BCA Metro Gallery Show

Here are photo plates from my opening collection that will be on display at Burlington City Arts [BCA] Metro Gallery from 10/24/13-1/9/14.

I am very excited about the opening and it’s a pleasure to work with everyone at BCA, especially gallery manager Kerri Macon. Additional thanks to Rick Levinson and RLPhoto and my framers the Dostie Brothers.
